Course Descriptions
Same great courses as prior years. The 9k and 5k courses are run on a combination of lightly technical singletrack and smooth Forest Service road. The 9k contains approximately 1000 feet of climbing while the 5k contains approximately 450 feet.
Aid Stations
There will be one aid station on the 9k and one on the 5k course. Both aid stations will contain water only. There will be water, Gatorade, and snacks at the finish.
Awards
New for 2024 – In order to maximize return toward our mission, the Big Bear Stampede will no longer be offering cash awards. There will be prizes for the following male and female categories in both the 5k and 9k: Top 3 overall; 1st place 17 and under; 1st place 18-40; 1st place 40 and over.
